Privacy Policy

Kairos is an early-stage company based in Bengaluru, India, building an AI health coach. This policy explains what personal data the Kairos website, kairosfitt.com, and its waitlist collect, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.

It covers the website only. The Kairos app is not yet available. Because the app will handle far more sensitive information than the website does, it will have its own privacy policy, and we will ask for your explicit consent before collecting any of it. See the section on the app below.

We process personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and with the principle that we collect the minimum we need and tell you exactly what that is.

Waitlist email address. When you join the waitlist we collect your email address, the time you joined, the page you were on and your browser type. We use this to tell you when early access opens, to send occasional updates about Kairos, and to understand where interest is coming from. Basis: your consent, given when you submit the form. Kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or 24 months after launch if you never take up access, whichever is sooner.

Messages you send us. If you use Speak to us or email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use this to reply and to improve Kairos. Basis: your consent, and our legitimate need to respond. Kept for as long as the conversation is live and up to 24 months after, unless a legal obligation requires longer.

Technical data. Like almost every website, our hosting provider records standard server logs when you load a page: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested and timestamps. We use these only to keep the site secure and working. Basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website. Held by our hosting provider for a short rolling period and not combined with your waitlist entry.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the website, which pages they view, roughly where they are and how they found us. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to recognise repeat visits. We do not use it to identify you by name and we do not link it to your waitlist entry. Basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used. Analytics data is retained by Google for 14 months. You can opt out with the Google Analytics browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser.

What we do not collect on the website: we do not use advertising pixels, and we do not collect health, calendar, location or payment information here. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.

We use a small number of providers to run the website. Each acts only on our instructions and only to provide its service. Vercel Inc. (United States) hosts the website and receives the technical data described above. Cloudflare, Inc. (global network) stores and delivers the hero video and receives standard request logs when it is played. Google LLC (United States) stores waitlist entries in a Google Sheet, handles the email account we use to reply to you, and provides Google Analytics.

We do not share your personal data with anyone else, and we do not sell it. In particular, we will never share your data with advertisers, data brokers, insurers or employers, and we will never use your identifiable data to train third-party AI models.

We may disclose personal data if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of Kairos or our users.

Our providers store data on servers in the United States and, for content delivery, at Cloudflare locations around the world. That means your waitlist email and technical logs leave India. Each provider is bound by contract to protect your data to a standard consistent with this policy and applicable law.

Data travels between your browser and our providers over encrypted connections and is stored encrypted at rest. Access within Kairos is limited to the people who need it to run the website and reply to you. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise that data will never be accessed without authorisation, but we take reasonable steps to prevent it and will tell you if something goes wrong that affects you.

You can ask us at any time to tell you what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it for a particular purpose. You can withdraw consent to waitlist emails by using the unsubscribe link in any message or by writing to us; withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

Send any request to shrutikairosfitt@gmail.com. We will confirm receipt and respond within the time the law requires, and in any case as quickly as we reasonably can. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Kairos is for adults. You must be 18 or over to join the waitlist, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

The app is designed to work from information the website never touches: your goals, dietary preferences and allergies, body measurements, your calendar, and data from wearables and health platforms you choose to connect. It will process this information automatically, using artificial intelligence, to produce recommendations, without review by a healthcare professional.

None of that is collected today. Before the app collects any of it, we will publish a privacy policy that describes exactly what is collected, how the AI uses it, which providers process it and where, how long it is kept, and how you can disconnect a source or delete everything. You will be asked to give explicit consent for health data specifically, separately from agreeing to the terms. If you joined the waitlist under this policy, joining the app will be your choice, not something that follows automatically.

We will post any change to this policy on this page and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use data you have already given us, we will tell waitlist members by email before it takes effect.
